I purchased this wonderful item almost 20 years ago … from an antique dealer friend near Venice.. it’s Vintage possibly Around 1950
Glamour and beauty..just a Wonder item to own ..

An enormous amount of fabric was needed to make and line this cover ! Plus the Passementerie!!

The reverse side is slightly lighter coloured cotton …and the showing side is
a lovely heavy weight cotton.. magnificent piece

Condition clean and strong
Although there are some old original mends at the bottom hem area this does not detract from it’s rare beauty…
